A way to rethink the vision of disability
The series "Possibilities Peru" shows the lives of people with disabilities. They live, work, and attend educational institutions in their communities, showing that disability does not incapacitate, it only requires opportunities.
We believe and want to build an inclusive society, where parents bet on the potential of their children, where schools have high expectations of their students, and where society removes the barriers that prevent people with disabilities from achieving their real development.
The "Possibilities Peru" series is inspired by the work of the Michigan Institute for Developmental Disabilities. Also, this video was made as part of the activities of the project "No child will be left behind" (No child will be left out), thanks to funds from the United States Embassy.
